Hyundai i30

Hyundai i30 – compact car of Korean company Hyundai Motor Company. It is built on the same platform as the Kia cee’d, as well as it has a five-door hatchback or station wagon, a gasoline or diesel engine with a choice of a manual or automatic transmission.

Universal, sold together with Hyundai Elantra, in the US and Canada is sold as Elantra Touring.

In 2012, sales of the second generation of the car began.

It was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2007. Design Hyundai i30, like the design of his twin brother Kia cee’d, was developed specifically for Europe by a German firm in Rüsselsheim.

Here, it’s teamed up with a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual gearbox, which offers decent acceleration and smoothness, but lackluster fuel-economy ratings, especially compared with the Elantra sedan’s 40-mpg highway EPA rating. The suspension is considerably firmer than either the current or former Elantra sedan, with quicker steering and bigger anti-roll bars, which give the Touring a verve all its own.
